Professional networking collective Collabor8Women continues its Gold Access partnership with Joval Wines, spotlighting Callie Jemmeson, founder and winemaker of boutique Yarra Valley label Pachamama.
Held at the Coco Republic Showroom in Alexandria, the Gold Access Member event put Callie firmly in the spotlight at a pivotal moment for her brand, as it coincides with a new distribution partnership on the eastern seaboard with Déjà Vu Wine Co.
They were treated to four of Pachamama’s wines from its 2025 vintage, poured throughout the evening in designer glassware by Plumm, also part of the Joval Wines stable.
“I’m thrilled to be part of the evening and to have the opportunity to showcase my wines to both Collabor8Women and Coco Republic VIP guests,” said Callie.
“Helping people, especially women succeed in my industry is a real passion of mine, and it’s exactly what drew me to Collabor8Women. We share the same values. Genuine support, real connection and making a difference for women in business.
“For me, it’s never just been about making a good bottle of wine. It’s about being a bit more considerate of the place and season, and building a corner of this industry where women feel genuinely backed, not just included.
“Wine can leave a mark on someone’s day, and I want Pachamama to leave a good one, on the land, on the industry, and on everyone who shares a glass with us,” added Callie.
According to Collabor8Women co-founders Karen Eck and Samantha Theron, the winemaker’s passion for supporting other women in business is admirable.
“Callie has built something from the ground up, worked extremely hard and managed to forge a pathway that sustains her and her family. She wants you to taste that honesty in every glass. We’re proud to introduce her to our members, and we are grateful to Joval Wines for their support,” said Karen.

ABOUT PACHAMAMA
Callie Jemmeson’s path to wine was anything but a straight line. She began with a Bachelor of Arts in criminology and psychology from the University of Melbourne, then trained as a chef before realising the kitchen wasn’t quite the right fit. Wine, though, runs in her blood: her family has been part of the industry for almost five decades, with school holidays spent in Champagne and Tuscany and weekends built around long tables of family, friends, food and wine. A fourth-generation presence in the industry, she eventually found her place at the table, sharing the fruits of her labour rather than working back of house.
Pachamama itself was born on a journey to Machu Picchu in 2010, where Callie and her father stood at sunrise overlooking the Incan citadel. As their guide shared stories of Pachamama, the Incan fertility goddess who presides over planting and harvesting, known to many as Mother Nature, the fog lifted to reveal the ruins below, and the seed for the brand was planted.
Callie holds a Bachelor of Wine Science from Charles Sturt University, with vintages completed in Italy, France and California, plus hands-on experience at De Bortoli in the Yarra Valley. Over the past 12 years she has shaped Pachamama into a winery with purpose: small-batch, gentle and light-handed in style, dedicated to impeccably balanced, elegant wines that connect people, place and nature.
Callie has been a finalist in both the Australian Women in Wine Awards and the Young Gun of Wine Awards, and her wines have consistently achieved 90+ point Halliday ratings. She has also judged at the Victorian and Yarra Valley wine shows.
