Community ideas wanted

Community Pitch 2022-23

Do you have a great ‘people-focused’ idea for a one-off community program, project or initiative that can benefit your local area?

Hobsons Bay residents, community groups, sporting clubs, businesses and organisations are invited to pitch an idea for a one-off community program, project, or initiative that Council will deliver next financial year.

Funding of up to $50,000 is available per idea to deliver ‘people-focused’ programs or initiatives.

In total, $600,000 will be available as part of the Community Pitch program (subject to Council budget adoption). Programs, projects, or initiatives will be funded from each ward.

The community will be invited to vote for their favourite Community Pitch early next year after initial assessment by Council staff against the selection criteria.

We will be looking for a broad range of ideas that align to the recently adopted Council Plan 2021-25 and demonstrate a strong community benefit.
