Conservatives welcome government leadership on vegan trespassers

Australian Conservatives Release

The Conservative Party’s South Australian Senate candidate, Rikki Lambert, has welcomed Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s support for farmers whose land has been invaded by animal activist trespassers today in a day of vegan protest against Australian agriculture.

Mr Lambert says, “This is excellent leadership and the right call from Prime Minister Morrison. Governments should assist where radical activists undermine the bottom lines of longstanding Australian institutions, like our livestock farmers, who have sustained the nation since before federation.”

Anarchists illegally invaded meat production and processing businesses in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Hobart today in a series of nationwide protests against the production of Australian livestock.

Prime Minister Morrison said the Commonwealth is totally open to supporting farmers in a test case to teach these green-collared criminals a lesson.
