Construction begins on CDU Trades Training Centre

Construction is underway on a new Trades Training Centre for Charles Darwin University’s Casuarina campus, the latest addition to CDU’s Trades Precinct.

The two-storey Centre features a heavy equipment precinct, an assembly area, an industrial sand pit, and classrooms.

A $10 million project, the Territory Labor Government has provided $4.8 million though a VET Capital Grant to help fund the new centre and grow a skilled, agile and capable workforce for the Territory.

Local business Aspire Design and Construct are undertaking this job creating project, with early works underway, with the project expected to be complete in late 2024.
