Community consultation is now underway for proposed amendments to the Sunshine Coast Planning Scheme 2014 and Planning Scheme Policies.
The proposed planning scheme amendment relates to additional South East Queensland Regional Plan 2017 (SEQRP) sites and other zoning matters.
The amendment is proposing to change the zoning and local plan area boundaries for specific sites located at Bli Bli, Chevallum, Forest Glen, Landsborough and Yandina.
The proposal is in response to changes to the Urban Footprint under the SEQRP and to better reflect existing development approvals or desired future land uses for certain sites.
