Western Australian families will be able to enjoy the Perth Royal Show at an affordable price in 2026, with the Cook Labor Government investing $3.95 million to support discounted tickets, affordable food and some of the Show’s most popular attractions.
A family of four will be able to attend the Show for less than $80, with 70,000 pre-sale tickets to be made available online with discounts of up to 50 per cent. Kids aged 3 and under remain free.
The Cook Labor Government’s $3 million Agricultural Promotion Program will support a range of attractions and activities across the Show, including nightly fireworks, 10,000 free Yellow Brick Road experiences and agricultural education activities.
The new Made in WA Harvest Collective will showcase dishes made with locally grown and produced ingredients, giving showgoers even more ways to experience some of the best food Western Australia has to offer while supporting local farmers and producers.
Delivered by the Royal Agricultural Society of WA, the Perth Royal Show is one of the State’s most popular annual events, bringing together agriculture, entertainment, food and competition and attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
Funding through the Agricultural Promotion Program will also support regional agricultural shows, which play an important role in bringing communities together, supporting volunteers and showcasing local agriculture across the State.
The Cook Labor Government will contribute a further $950,000 through Lotterywest to help make the Perth Royal Show more accessible for people experiencing disadvantage, celebrate Western Australia’s agricultural heritage and strengthen connections between regional and metropolitan communities.
The Perth Royal Show will run from 26 September to 3 October 2026, bringing together the best of the country and the city for eight days of entertainment, agriculture, food, competitions and family fun.

“Agricultural shows are also incredibly important to communities right across our State, bringing people together and helping the next generation understand where their food comes from and the important role agriculture plays in our economy and way of life.”
