The Cook Labor Government has bolstered the education offering for families in Perth’s growing north-eastern suburbs with the opening of Henley Brook Primary School.

The $31.3 million school will cater for students from Kindergarten to Year 6, to meet the needs of local families in the area and provide high-quality education options for students.

The state-of-the-art school has an administration block, early childhood teaching block, three teaching blocks with general learning areas, an inclusive education room and specialist rooms for art and science.

It is also equipped with a library, covered assembly area, music room, canteen, oval and hard courts. Rooftop solar panels have been installed to harness sustainable energy.

Henley Brook Primary School will provide enrolment relief for nearby Brabham Primary School. Works on Brabham East Primary school, to open in 2025, will begin shortly.

Thousands of students across the State will benefit from a range of new school facilities opening this week, including Jilbup Primary School, the Brabham Primary School offsite early childhood education facility, the redeveloped Lesmurdie Primary School, additions at Karratha Senior High School and an additional classroom block at Alkimos College.

These projects are part of the Cook Labor Government’s $1.5 billion school infrastructure program to deliver new and modern public schools.
