Griffith City Council, in partnership with Intereach, is inviting the community to come together for Every Step Counts, a free event celebrating the International Day of People with a Disability on Wednesday, 3 December 2025.
The event aims to celebrate, connect and contribute to a more inclusive Griffith by recognising the valuable contributions of people with disability and promoting community engagement and accessibility.
- Community members are encouraged to join in a morning of activities, including:
- Having your say on the Disability Inclusion Action Plan
- A community walk around the street at 10:30am
- Cupcakes, games, and creative arts and crafts for all ages
The event will be held on Wednesday, 3 December from 10am to 1pm at Memorial Park on Banna Avenue, Griffith, near the Christmas tree.
Griffith City Council and Intereach welcome everyone to attend, support inclusion and enjoy a day of fun and connection.
