Council wishes you a safe and happy holiday season and a prosperous New Year. There will be some changes to opening hours and services in December/January.
The Council Civic Centre and depot will be closed from 2pm on Wednesday 24 December 2025 and will reopen on Monday 5 January 2026.

Please note: Due to the closure of the Civic Centre, the Customer Service team will not be responding to general enquiries.
Urgent calls made during the closure will be responded to and forwarded to the appropriate team for action.
All non-urgent requests should be submitted online and will be addressed on Monday, 5 January 2026.
There will be no waste collections on Christmas Day. Instead, bins will be emptied on Christmas Eve, Wednesday 24 December.
Please have your bins out by 6am on Wednesday morning.
All other collection days are unchanged during the holiday period.

Maternal and Child Health Line – call 13 22 29 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week). Families with children from birth to school age can speak to an MCH nurse for advice and support.
Wimmera Libraries
