The City of Ballarat takes dog attacks very seriously.
We investigate any dog attacks reported to us .
We take appropriate measures which can include legal action in the Magistrates Court and fines.
Residents are encouraged to keep their dogs secure, and on leashes when out in public.
We encourage residents to use one of our many dog park locations at Vic Park, Sebastopol, Wendouree, Canadian and Buninyong.
