Council Welcomes $12 Million Commitment for St Kilda Primary School Community Facility

City of Port Phillip
City of Port Phillip welcomes the recent Victorian Liberl Party $12 million election commitment to deliver a new school hall at St Kilda Primary School, announced by Member for Prahran, Rachel Westaway.

The commitment seeks to secure much needed funding for a multi-purpose indoor hall and performing arts space for students and the wider community that will support school assemblies, performances, and sporting activities, while also creating opportunities for local events and programs that strengthen community connections.

Council is dedicated to advocating for projects that enhance the liveability and vibrancy of Port Phillip. Investments like this help ensure our community has the facilities it needs to support learning and foster a sense of belonging.

This election commitment is a testimony to the St Kilda Primary School’s vigorous advocacy campaign, and Council commends their efforts.

We look forward to working collaboratively with the school to see these improvements benefit students, families and the broader Port Phillip community.
