Northern Territory Police are investigating a crash that occurred on Gunn Point Beach this morning.
At 3:00am, police received reports of three males falling from the back of a vehicle, with two suffering minor injuries and one suffering serious injuries.
Passengers of the vehicle began transporting the injured male to the nearest hospital; however, stopped along Gunn Point Road upon arrival of emergency services.
St John Ambulance conveyed the male to the Royal Darwin Hospital in a critical condition.
Two male occupants of the vehicle were transported to the Palmerston Police Station to undertake breath analysis and assist police with investigations. The driver at the time of the incident was subsequently arrested and is expected to be charged later.
