Emergency services are responding to a crash on Main North Rd near Bay View in Napier.
A car crashed into a fence at 5.20pm and a person is currently trapped in the vehicle.
Traffic is down to one lane and as it’s peak hour motorists are advised to avoid the area or delay their trip home if possible.
