Crisafulli silent on Bates

Minister for Health and Ambulance Services The Honourable Yvette D'Ath

It’s been 19 days since the LNP’s Health Spokeswoman Ros Bates was revealed to be a member of a fake union seeking to undermine our health worker vaccine mandate and the Leader of the Opposition has failed to act, Health Minister Yvette D’Ath said today. “I understand the Leader of the Opposition and the LNP Health Spokeswoman will be in Mackay Whitsunday today,” the Minister said. “We know vaccination rates in Mackay Whitsunday need to be higher and the Palaszczuk Government is doing everything we can to encourage people to get vaccinated. “Queenslanders can’t afford to have that undermined by the LNP’s Health Spokeswoman who continues to maintain membership of an organisation that is seeking to undermine our health worker vaccine mandate. “Ros Bates either needs to resign or David Crisafulli needs to remove her from the LNP’s frontbench. “George Christensen’s actions are bad enough –the LNP should disassociate themselves from NPAQ and back in our health worker vaccine mandate. “The Leader of the Opposition has been silent for 19 days but Queenslanders only have 10 days to act – he needs to show some leadership today.”
