NSW Telco Authority (NSWTA) Managing Director Kylie De Courteney and Chief Digital and Technology Officer James Pickens joined global industry leaders and experts to discuss the changing critical communications landscape atattended the TCCA Critical Communications World 2023 Conference in Helsinki, Finland from 23-25 May 2023.

With Australia experiencing significant fire and flood disasters in recent years, we are committed to improving how we support our communities and emergency services in disaster response and preparedness. We do this through the Public Safety Network, the use of geo-spatial technology in emergency management, interoperability, and our work to advance the Public Safety Mobile Broadband.

The conference was an opportunity to reconnect with global leaders and experts to discuss critical communications best -practice and the changing landscape both in Australia and internationally.

In her keynote speech, Kylie reinforced NSWTA’s our commitment to accelerating a Public Safety Mobile Broadband capability and ensuring Emergency Services Organisations have access to mission-critical grade communications to help protect our communities.

The theme for this year’s conference focused on the ever-increasing importance of collaborating and sharing knowledge between organisations, sectors and nations, to continue advancing the field of critical communications.

The Critical Communications World Conference Cconference is wherebrings together professionals and decision-makers from over 100 countries gather to discuss new and best-practice technology, design and innovation in the sector.
