Cyclist injured in Carrum Downs collision

Officers from Carrum Downs are investigating the circumstances surrounding a collision between a car and bicycle which occurred in Carrum Downs last week.

Investigators have been told the car and bike collided at the intersection of Thompsons Road and Frankston-Dandenong Road about 5.30am on Friday 30 July.

The rider, a 50-year-old Sandhurst man, suffered injuries as a result of the collision.

The male driver of the car did stop at the seen and speak to the cyclist but no details were exchanged.

Police wish to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
