Cyclist injured in Dandenong hit-run

Police are appealing for public assistance following a hit-run collision in Dandenong.

It is understood a car and cyclist collided at the intersection of Morewell Avenue and Moomba Parade about 8.45pm on Wednesday, 13 July.

The cyclist, a 39-year-old Dandenong man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries and remains in a stable condition.

Police were told the vehicle, believed to be a white Toyota Aurion, stopped briefly then fled the scene westbound along Moomba Parade.
