Death of motocross rider, NSW

A report will be prepared for the Coroner after the death of a motocross rider at Kembla Heights today.

About 10.30am (Sunday 30 June 2019), a 51-year-old man was participating in a social ride at a motocross complex on Harry Graham Drive, when he struck a tree.

Despite efforts at the scene, the male was unable to be revived.

A crime scene has been established and is being examined by forensic specialists.

Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District are conducting inquiries.
