Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating vandalism to the Police Memorial on St Kilda Road, Melbourne on Friday, 13 December.
It is believed the memorial was graffitied overnight by unknown offender/s.
The incident was reported to police by a passerby around 7am.
Investigators believe spray paint was used to deface the memorial.
The investigation remains ongoing.
