Detectives release CCTV as part of Belmore armed robbery investigation, NSW

Detectives have released CCTV and are appealing for public assistance as investigations continue into the armed robbery of a service station in Sydney’s south-west last week.

About 11.40pm last Friday (3 April 2020), a man entered a service station on Punchbowl Road, Belmore, and threatened a 24-year-old employee with scissors.

The man stole cash and cigarettes before running from the store.

Officers from Campsie Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The man could not be located despite an extensive search with the assistance of the Dog Unit and Polair.

As inquiries continue, investigators have now released CCTV vision of a man who may be able to assist with the investigation.

The man depicted is described as being of about 175cm to 180cm tall, of a solid build, and with a dark moustache.

He is shown wearing a white ‘Asics’ cap, black ‘Boss’ hooded jumper, black trackpants, and white shoes.
