Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a serious crash that occurred in Dianella on Saturday 20 May 2023 that resulted in the death of a man.
About 9.20am, a grey Hyundai i30 hatchback and a white Toyota Corolla sedan collided on Woodrow Avenue near Norton Drive. The collision sent the Hyundai i30 into the wall of a property on Woodrow Avenue.
The 81-year-old male driver of the Hyundai i30 sustained critical injuries in the crash and was conveyed to hospital for treatment. He later succumbed to his injuries and died in hospital.
Investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash or the Hyundai i30 hatchback or the Toyota Corolla sedan travelling in the area prior to the crash.
