I am pleased to announce another appointment to the City of Ballarat’s senior leadership team.
Respected Ballarat environmental engineer Bridget Wetherall has been appointed Director Infrastructure and Environment.
Bridget has over 20 years’ experience working in the public and private sector and holds a degree in Environmental Engineering and a Graduate Diploma in Environmental Law.
Bridget has lived and worked in Ballarat for over three years, most recently leading the operations and strategic management of environmental assets and services at Central Highlands Water.
Bridget is passionate about Ballarat and is looking forward to working hard to deliver sustainable environmental and infrastructure outcomes for our community.
Bridget will commence with the City of Ballarat on Monday 19 October 2020.
Committed to leading cultural change within the City of Ballarat, Bridget will have an important role to play in implementing the Action Plan as a result of the Organisational Governance and Culture Assessment review, now being conducted by Susan Halliday AM.
Recruitment for the new roles – Director Community Wellbeing and Director Development and Growth are underway. Further announcements will be made as appointments are finalised.
