Dog stolen from Brunswick

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Leo the dog, stolen from his home in Brunswick.

The two-year-old black Labrador x French Mastiff was in the front yard of a Park Street property with the gate latched.

An unknown male got out of a silver Toyota Kluger at 4.16pm, walked to the gate, walked the dog out into the car and drove away.

The vehicle the offender used has been identified as having stolen number plates with registration TCD849.

Investigators have observed the vehicle on CCTV, parked outside the property from around 3.30pm until the theft of Leo.

Images of the offending vehicle, images of Leo and CCTV of the theft have been released in the hope someone may have information.
