Drink driver charged after crashing into police station fence at Goulburn, NSW

A man has been charged with high-range drink driving after crashing his car into a police station fence in Goulburn earlier today.

Shortly after 1am (Thursday 5 March 2020) a black Skoda Hatch crashed into the gutter and the front fence of Goulburn Police Station.

Officers from the Hume Police District attended immediately and spoke to the driver and four male occupants.

No one was injured as a result of the crash.

The 27-year-old male driver was arrested and walked into Goulburn Police Station, where he was subjected to a breath analysis that returned a positive reading of 0.171.

The man was charged with drive with high range PCA and is due to face Goulburn Local Court on 25 March 2020.
