Driver dies in two vehicle-crash at Batemans Bay

A woman has died following a two-vehicle crash on the Far South Coast.

About 1.30pm, (Friday 17 November 2023), emergency services responded to the Princes Highway, Cullendulla, approximately five kilometres North-East of Batemans Bay, following reports a hatchback and a cement truck collided head-on.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the driver of the hatchback – a 67-year-old woman – however; she died at the scene

The driver of the truck – a 41-year-old-man – was taken to Batemans Bay Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The Princes Highway was closed in both directions for several hours.
