Driver disqualified until 2036 charged during vehicle stop, NSW

A man – disqualified from driving until 2036 – is due to face court today charged following a vehicle stop by Strike Force Puma in Sydney’s west.

About 1.45pm yesterday (Monday 22 July 2019) officers from Traffic and Highway Patrol Command’s Strike Force Puma were conducting proactive patrols along the M7, near Kings Park, when they spotted a Ford Falcon utility allegedly being driven by a target disqualified driver.

Officers stopped the utility and spoke with the driver, a 45-year-old man, who had been disqualified from driving until 2036.

The man was arrested and taken to Riverstone Police Station, where he was charged with driving while disqualified.

He was refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court today (Tuesday 23 July 2019).
