Police have charged a teen following investigations into a traffic crash in Ferny Grove last night, 16 August.
Around 9.30pm, police were called to Cassimaty Street following reports a Mazda had crashed into a fence.
Responding police arrested an 18-year-old Scarborough man nearby and seized a knife, cannabis, a quantity of cash, and a firearm.
There were no reports of injuries, and the vehicle has not been reported as stolen.
The man has since been charged with one count each of unlawful possession of weapons category H weapon, possessing dangerous drugs, possess property suspected of having being used in connection with the commission of a drug offence, possessing anything used in the commission of crime defined in Part 2, and possession of knife in a public place.
His police bail was refused, and he is first expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court today, 17 August.
