Drugs found during vehicle search at Dubbo, NSW

A man and a woman have been charged after drugs and a knife were located during a vehicle search in the state’s Orana Region.

About 5.45pm Thursday (16 January 2020), officers stopped a Holden Colorado on Myall Street, Dubbo and conducted a random breath test.

After a conversation with the driver, officers attached to Orana Mid Western Police District Detectives and Region Enforcement Squad, searched the vehicle, seizing cash, drugs and a knife.

The 25-year-old man was taken to Dubbo Police Station, where he was charged with supply prohibited drug and was given conditional bail to appear before Dubbo Local Court Friday (13 March 2020).

The 18-year-old woman was taken to Dubbo Police Station, where she was charged with custody of knife in a public place and goods in personal custody suspected of being stolen.

The woman was given conditional bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court Wednesday (5 February 2020).
