EarthTalks explores challenges of adding renewable energy to power grid

Governments are turning to solar and wind power as means of generating electricity while reducing carbon emissions. But how do these energy sources get on the power grid? Seth Blumsack, professor of energy policy and economics and international affairs at Penn State, will look at the challenges of adding renewable energy to the power grid at the next EarthTalks seminar at 4 p.m. Monday, March 16, in 112 Walker Building. The talk is free and open to the public.
