Detectives have charged an eighth man following an extensive investigation into the Wakeley public order incident last week.
About 1.30pm on Friday 26 April 2024, officers attached to Strike Force Dribs executed a search warrant at a home on Lawford Street, Fairfield West.
Police arrested a 19-year-old man at the scene and seized several items alleged to be linked to the incident.
He was taken to Fairfield Police Station where he was charged with riot, and aggravated break and enter –commit serious indictable offence.
The man was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Saturday 27 April 2024.
Investigations under Strike Force Dribs continue.
