Six new Councillors and one returning elected member will form the new Horsham Rural City Council after 2020 election results were made official on Wednesday.
The Victorian Electoral Commission formally declared the results at 5pm.
Elected candidates:
- Penny Flynn
- Di Bell
- Robyn Gulline
- Les Power
- Ian Ross
- Claudia Haenel
- David Bowe
Chief Executive Officer Sunil Bhalla thanked all candidates.
“Representing the people of our municipality is a great honour and I congratulate the newly elected Councillors on their success and all candidates for their efforts during the election,” Mr Bhalla said.
“We look forward to working with the new Councillors and helping them serve the community.
“I’d like to also farewell and thank outgoing Councillors Mark Radford, David Grimble, Pam Clarke, Josh Koenig, Alethea Gulvin and John Robinson for their service,” he said.
