Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal house fire in Goldie on 5 August.
Emergency services were called to Mt William Road following reports of the fire about 10.30pm.
A female resident of the property was located deceased this afternoon.
A second person sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains under police guard.
The area has been cordoned off and a crime scene has been established.
The exact cause of the 60-year-old woman’s death as well as the cause of the fire is yet to be determined at this stage
