Activities are designed to engage children aged 4 to 12 years and will be held in Blackheath.

Learning how to make a home for bees, Aboriginal games for kids, bush navigation and the ever popular Spotlight! are just some of the fun activities available over the summer break.

National Parks and Wildlife Service ranger-guided experiences in the Blue Mountains National Park aim to nurture a curiosity and appreciation of nature in a fun and interactive way.

Children can make their own bee hotel, learn how to navigate, immerse in Aboriginal cultural art or traditional games, spot night-time inhabitants and get creative with clay.

Activities are scheduled throughout January during the summer school holidays.

Bookings must be made in advance in order to secure a spot on the day and take part in these exciting summer activities in the Blue Mountains National Park.

Holiday activities cost $20 per child.

You can see a full list of sessions, find more information and book activities at National Parks and Wildlife Service Kids’ and family activities.
