Expanded outdoor dining plans underway in Mount Waverley

The first locations for expanded dining at Pinewood Shopping Village, Mount Waverley are taking shape, with work started this week.

Further work to beautify the areas will occur in phase two of the project but our focus has been on creating safe outdoor dining areas so hospitality businesses can open up as soon as it’s permitted.

After the State Government’s Outdoor Eating and Entertainment Package was announced on 14 September, Council began working with traders to ensure the timeframe for reopening these businesses and precincts could be achieved once restrictions eased. The package outlines requirements that allow a maximum number of outdoor dining and limited indoor dining, to limit the spread of COVID-19.

We all want to see our food precincts thriving and safely welcoming as many customers as possible and we look forward to seeing you as we re-open Monash for business.
