Dept of Industry, Science and Resources

The ITRF is a group of representatives from Australian manufacturers and producers, importers, industry associations, unions and government agencies. This is part of Part XVB of the Customs Act 1901 and the Customs Tariff (Anti-Dumping) Act 1975.

The Minister for Industry and Innovation and Minister for Science will appoint members for up to 3 years.

Your organisation’s nomination should explain its interest in the trade remedies system and in becoming an ITRF member. Please also include your entity type or the cohort you represent:

  • Australian producers
  • Australian manufacturers
  • Australian industry or representative body (including members)
  • Australian trade union
  • Commonwealth agency
  • other.

Your EOI should not exceed 500 words.

Organisations rather than individuals are the appointed members of the ITRF. The ITRF meets a minimum of twice a year with representation usually at the CEO or Managing Director level. Members of the ITRF hold office on a part time basis in a non-remunerated capacity.
