F6 extension stage 1EIS open for comment

The Department of Planning and Environment has today released for public comment the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the next phase of planning of the F6 Stage 1 Extension.

The F6 Extension Stage 1 proposal includes:

  • Ramps between the main motorway tunnel and the surface intersection at President Avenue
  • Tunnel stubs for a future connection south to extend the F6 Extension
  • Provision of new shared cycle and pedestrian pathways.
  • Executive Director Priority Projects, David Gainsford, said the EIS for the project is available for community comment and the feedback received will inform the assessment process.

    We encourage the community to provide feedback on the EIS for this project during the public exhibition period,” Mr Gainsford said.

    Public submissions are vital to guide our assessment of applications for projects like this – we want to hear your views.
