Police can now advise that one person has died following a crash on State Highway 1 near Takanini yesterday morning.
The person sadly passed away at the scene.
Our thoughts are with their family and friends at this difficult time.
The Serious Crash Unit attended the scene and an investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
