Police can advise one person has died following a two vehicle crash on Waihola Highway, Clarendon, Clutha District.
Two people were transported to hospital in a moderate and minor condition.
The road remains closed, but should be cleared shortly.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
