Fatal Motorbike Crash, Far North Queensland

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal motorbike crash at Gamboola this morning, September 26.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 9am, a motorbike was travelling along Strathleven Road when it struck a truck.

The rider, a Tablelands man in his 60s, sustained critical injuries and was subsequently declared deceased at the scene.

The other driver was not physically injured, and is assisting police with investigations.
