Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Doncaster this afternoon.
Investigators have been told a Toyota Prado and a motorcycle collided at the intersection of King Street and Church Road on 30 September just before 2pm.
The yet to be formally identified motorcycle rider died at the scene.
The driver, a 51-year-old Templestowe woman, is assisting police with their enquiries.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and the investigation remains ongoing.
