A motorcycle rider has died following a serious crash in the states north today.
About 12pm (Friday 15 July 2022), emergency services responded to reports of a crash between a motorcycle and car on Spring Grove Road, Spring Grove, approximately 5km north of Casino.
The rider – a 17-year-old male – died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle – also a 17-year-old male – was not injured.
Officers from Richmond Police District established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist police, and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
