Police are investigating following a shooting in Yarraville this morning.
Emergency services were called to Salisbury Street shortly before 10.30am.
A man and a woman have been shot and the woman has died at the scene.
The man has been taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
A second man is being conveyed to hospital under hospital guard with what also appears to be gunshot wounds.
The exact circumstances regarding the shooting are yet to be determined and detectives from the Homicide Squad are currently en route to the scene.
