A man has died following a single-vehicle crash near Yass yesterday.
Just after 2.20pm (Thursday 1 April 2021), police were called to the Hume Highway at Oolong, about 20km east of Yass, following reports a Toyota Corolla had rolled.
A number of passing motorists stopped to render assistance to the driver, an 86-year-old man.
Following the arrival of emergency services, the man was airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition, where he later died.
Officers from The Hume Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
