The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash in Elaman Creek this morning, 9 August.
Initial investigations indicate that at around 10.00am on Maleny Kenilworth Road, a Toyota Landcruiser towing a caravan collided with a BMW G650GS motorcycle travelling in the opposite direction.
The 64-year-old male driver of the motorcycle sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
The occupants of the Landcruiser were not physically injured.
Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
