Federal Member for Gilmore Re-elected – Fiona Phillips MP

Shoalhaven City Council Mayor Amanda Findley congratulates Fiona Phillips MP on her re-election at the 2022 Federal Election.

The division of Gilmore covers all the Shoalhaven and Kiama local government areas and the northern parts of the Eurobodalla. The most northerly part of the electorate is Minnamurra and the southerly part is just south of Moruya. The western boundary includes much of the Budawang and Morton National Parks.

Shoalhaven City Council Mayor, Amanda Findley said, “Fiona Phillips MP has been a member of the Shoalhaven community for most of her life. She was born on the South Coast of NSW, was raised on a dairy farm in Terara and Worrigee, and as a family raised their four children in the Shoalhaven.”

“With a degree in Economics and a Master of Business Ms Phillips has a long career working in areas of education, skills and training on the South Coast. She worked as a Work Placement Coordinator for Shoalhaven Schools Workplace Learning Program and as an outreach program TAFE Teacher helping to get people back into work and further training.”

“I congratulate Fiona Phillips MP on being re-elected as Federal Member for Gilmore and look forward to working in partnership to see great projects and services delivered to the Shoalhaven over the next term,” Mayor Findley said.
