Fifth male charged over home invasion – Lalor Park

Police have charged a fifth male in relation to a home invasion at Lalor Park in October last year.

About 12.20am on Thursday 27 October 2022, emergency services responded to reports a man had been injured during a home invasion in Mountfort Street, Lalor Park.

Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command were told four males had forced entry into the home before allegedly assaulting and stabbing the 20-year-old resident.

They fled the area on foot before police were alerted.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the resident at the scene. He was taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition and later underwent surgery.

There were no other people home at the time.

Local police – with the assistance of PolAir – conducted a search of the area where two males aged 19 and 17, and two brothers aged 18 and 16, were arrested in Wheeler Park.

All four were taken to Blacktown Police Station and charged with aggravated robbery with wounding/grievous bodily harm. They remain before the Courts.

Following inquiries, about 11.30am on 8 March 2023, detectives from Strike Force Compacta arrested a 17-year-old male at Riverstone Police Station.
