Firearms and ammunition stolen at Singleton, NSW

Police are investigating after two firearms and rounds of ammunition were stolen from a storage facility in the Hunter Valley.

On Tuesday 21 January 2020, a 32-year-old man has taken a firearm safe, firearms and ammunition to a storage facility in McDougalls Hill. The storage shed was secured before the man left the facility.

Then around 9am yesterday (Thursday 23 January 2020), officers attached to Hunter Valley Police District were called to the facility following reports two firearms and ammunition had been stolen from a storage unit.

A crime scene was established and investigations are continuing.

Police are urging anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam from the area nearby between Tuesday 21 and Thursday 23 January to contact Singleton Police Station or to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
