Football Australia to hold 19th Annual General Meeting on 23 November

The nineteenth Annual General meeting (AGM) of Football Australia Limited will be held at 5pm (AEDT) on Wednesday, 23 November 2022 in Sydney and via videoconference.

In accordance with its Constitution, the business to be conducted at the AGM is for Football Australia’s Members to receive and consider Football Australia’s Annual Financial Report, report on the Annual activities of Football Australia, inform Members of Football Australia’s annual budget, and conduct elections for three Director positions on Football Australia’s Board.

Current Directors Carla Wilshire and Spiro Pappas have been nominated for re-election as Directors of Football Australia, with a further three nominations being received.

The Nominee Directors listed below will fill two positions as Elected Directors of Football Australia for terms of office expiring at the 2025 Annual General Meeting and one position as Elected Director for a term of office expiring at the 2023 Annual General Meeting.

  1. BAILES AM, Charles (Morry) proposed by Football South Australia and seconded by Football Tasmania;
  2. ISAAC, Anter proposed by Football NSW and seconded by Football Victoria;
  3. LEE-JOE, Jaclyn proposed by Football Queensland and seconded by Football WA;
  4. PAPPAS, Spiro proposed by Football NSW and seconded by Melbourne Victory; and
  5. WILSHIRE OAM, Carla proposed by Football Tasmania and seconded by Football Victoria.

At the AGM Football Australia’s Members will also consider granting Football Coaches Australia Inc. the status of New Member of Football Australia.

Following the conclusion of the AGM Football Australia’s Board of Directors will meet to elect the Chair of Football Australia, which is a requirement each year following the AGM under Football Australia’s Constitution.
