A former AFP employee appeared in the ACT Magistrate’s Court today (18 August, 2025) in relation to a secrecy of information offence.
The former member pleaded guilty to one count of unauthorised disclosure of information by a current Commonwealth officer, contrary to section 122.4 of the Criminal Code (Cth).
He was convicted and sentenced to a 24-month Good Behaviour Order.
