In April 2019, detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad commenced an investigation, following reports a 14-year-old boy had been groomed and sexually assaulted by a man known to him.

Following extensive investigations, detectives arrested a 26-year-old man at Campbelltown Police Station just before 11am today (Friday 14 June 2019).
